Your future role:

  • Work across several aspects of marketing – from branding and positioning to targeted outreach and strategy, Go-to-Market strategy, campaigns, advocacy, events and communication. 
  • Create and execute innovative strategies and marketing plans that drive awareness, engagement and product adoption. 
  • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including product, user experience, design, analytics, creative and leadership, to drive product roadmaps, strategy and execution. 
  • Develop actionable, data-driven insights to inform product and marketing strategy. 
  • Leverage marketing insights to better understand our customers and represent the voice of the user. 
  • Create marketing programs (e.g. sales documentation, product videos, website copy, blog posts) that articulate the benefits of our products 

You offer:

  • Minimum of 2-3 years’ of experience in product marketing with a proven track record of executing successful product launches (or related experience). 
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Marketing, Engineering or related field, with (or) adequate professional experience 
  • Collaborative skills: As a product marketing executive you will have to collaborate with multiple teams across the business. This will often include the sales and marketing department, the engineering department, product management and senior executives. 
  • Communication skills: The ability to speak and write to a high standard is crucial. You will frequently have to present new products and write engaging copy, telling the ‘story’ of products, for various marketing channels across the globe. 
  • Research skills: A crucial part of being a product marketing executive is gaining insight into customer needs and experiences. Analysis of data, surveys and customer interviews will be part of this mix and you need to be well acquainted with these techniques. 
  • IT skills: You will need proficiency in MS Office packages and often Adobe InDesign and Photoshop. Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints 
  • Experience using a CRM like Salesforce and/or an email campaign tool (mailchimp) 
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
