Your Future Role

We are looking for a Junior Cloud Operations Engineer to support the daily operation, testing, and documentation of our cloud-based simulation platform, alsimCLOUD. 

This is a junior role. You are not expected to know everything from the beginning. The main focus is to help with regular checks, collect technical information, review logs, document findings, and support the team before more complex topics are escalated to senior engineers. 

You will work with cloud resources, Linux-based systems, Docker, logs, internal tools, and technical documentation. Over time, you will learn how our platform works and grow into more advanced cloud operations and platform support tasks. 
 
Main Tasks  

• Check the status of cloud resources and simulation runners. 
• Review failed tasks, queues, logs, and basic error messages. 
• Collect screenshots, logs, and technical information for internal reviews or audits. 
• Help document platform behavior, known issues, and “how to check” guides. 
• Run predefined tests and document the results. 
• Support the Customer Support team with basic technical checks. 
• Escalate unclear or complex issues with a short, structured summary.

What We Expect 

• Basic Linux knowledge. 
• Basic Docker knowledge. 
• Ability to read logs or willingness to learn. 
• Structured and careful working style. 
• Good documentation habits. 
• Basic understanding of web applications or APIs. 
• Interest in cloud systems and technical troubleshooting. 
• Willingness to ask questions and learn. 
• Scripting language

Nice to Have 

• Basic AWS knowledge. 
• Git or GitLab experience. 
• Basic understanding of monitoring, CI/CD, or cloud storage. 

Good Fit For Someone Who 

This role is a good fit for someone who is at the beginning of their cloud, DevOps, or platform engineering path and wants to learn by working with a real cloud-based product. 

You do not need to be an expert. What matters most is that you are careful, curious, structured, and willing to grow.
